Ironically, two months after I took this photo of the Geep working local industry, I moved to nearby Canyon Country and started the classic SoCal long-distance commute into greater LA. ACK! |

SP 3826 |
Description: |
By the late 1980's leaked oil and litter was becoming a common sight around Espee properties. This scene, looking north, is something you would expect to find across the border in Mexico rather than on the once proud Espee. Hey, it may be trashy but at least the power is interesting with over a half dozen GP9s including SP 3826 idling away on this Saturday morning. On Monday they will all be back to work, but in only a decade they, and the Espee itself, will be gone for good. |
