Ron Moraca General Delightful crossing photo, Marty!!!!!!!! Unit was originally MP SD40 #736, #31486, Apr 66. Unit became MP #3036, which was retired by the UP on 9 Feb 87. UP #3036 was reclassified in early 1984 as a Priority III unit, meaning retirement if anything major went wrong. Unit history: #1 - MP SD40 #736. #2 - MP #3036. #3 - UP #4046. Detailed history: Sold to Helm Financial on 11 January 1988. Sold to VMV Enterprises, Paducah, KY, on 3 Mar 89. Rebuilt to SD40-2 by VMV Enterprises and completed as KCS SD40-2 #608 on 28 April 1995. 9/12/2009 1:26:31 AM
