Good looking 4-6-2 Pacific built by Alco-Richmond in March of 1919 as Atlantic Coast Line #500 but later renumbered to ACL 1507 in 1919. The loco served well until finally being scrapped in September of 1951 at Waycross, GA. Specs - P-5-A class, 73" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, engine wt of 278,000 lb and tractive effort of 40,750 lb. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo. |
