| Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by Bob Lorenz that was taken near York, Pennsylvania, on 5 May 1958. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5903 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5903 was constructed in March of 1951. This train is stopped while one of the Crewmen inspects something underneath the second unit. ("Tchowee"; #26 of 27) |
