| This NS 534 load coming to Montour Power Plant has its first SD60E. Assigned units for the power plant coal trains since early 2007 had been SD60Is, and NS is upgrading power to SD60E units for these trains. While NS 7034 was the lead unit for the NS 534, two GE ES44DCs were coupled ahead of the coal train units. These GEs were for the season's first NS 61I, the empty gypsum hopper train stored at the nearby USG Washingtonville Plant over winter. |
