Conrail GG1 Action on the Trenton Cutoff on the Flyover "Over"
Digital image from Kim E. Piersol original 35mm Kodachrome transparency. Pair of CR GG1s lead EB on the cutoff to Morrisville and Trenton, NJ over the CR/Amtrak (now Amtrak) main from Harrisburg to Philadelphia at Whitford Station off Spackman Lane. This portion of the cutoff has long since been abandoned and the tracks removed, but the iron truss bridge still stands. Please note my son & Pinto Wagon in the photo!!!
