After Walter Rich passed, and most of the SD 45s were sold or scrapped, they picked up used diesels from a number of sources. The result was, it became harder and harder to find a matched set of power. This SU 100 is a case in point, rolling a 63 car train east past the Kirkwood water plant, though it does have one of the two SD 40T-2's that they had painted at the time. |
