| This view of ex-N&W caboose 518451 gives kind of a "wedge" or 3/4 view of the side and end. Note the car number, still in place and centered between the cupola windows. Class C-3 designation is painted on the body near the handrail. Caboose was painted a very bright red ("fire engine red (?)", as some call it) with white lettering and yellow handrails. Date of photo is June 1992 but exact date is uncertain. |
