Mike Maskel General GREAT SHOT 2/19/2016 2:27:11 PM
Keith Halsey General Many long years ago on a damp dreary evening a little classmate of mine went to meet her Lord God and maker right about the front of the engine. Family model “A” slid off Stine Rd. crossing planks which were only about 8 ft. long and got hung-up and stalled. Wartime economies I would suspect. Family panicked, she froze and didn’t get out. Train we called the 5 o’ clock or the Stream Liner. Always rated a 6400 to pull its 13 cars from some unknown place called Toronto. Train stopped one half mile upgrade at the White Rd. Bridge which I now realize was smart as there was a dispatcher’s line telephone box that the engine crew could use to get help on the way. I still think of her may she rest in peace. 2/19/2016 6:37:30 PM
