VALE 900
This old 80-ton locomotive was built in 1947 by General Electric for use as a plant switcher at their facility in Schenectady, NY. After retirement it also pulled trains of the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum, beginning in 1984, before coming to work for the Valley. Seen here at the head of the dinner train consist it would be powering later that evening.
