THACKERVILLE OK October 1973 -- A fellow railfan (left) watches as Santa Fe GP38 3507 rolls south on its way to the Red River bridge with a Houston-bound grain train. In June 1985 it was rebuilt as a GP38u and renumbered 2307. After transfer to BNSF it was patched and renumbered 2197 on Feb 22 2000.
