| INGALLS KS June 16 1979 -- Santa Fe U28CG 7904 and U33C 8507 haul a grain train across Kansas. The U28CG class was purchased for passenger service and was delivered in red warbonnet with steam generators. After the Amtrak takeover the units were assigned to freight service, repainted into freight colors and lost the steam generators. |
