| Medway is a subsidiary of the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC). It will invest EUR 93 million to conquer the Iberian railfreight market. The purchase of 16 new electric locomotives Euro 6000 which will allow Medway to return the five class 5600 locomotives that have been leased from CP since the freight division (ex-CP Carga) was privatized in 2016. The lease expires at the end of 2023 and affects the 5600 series locomotives. |
