Built by Pullman Palace Car Company in 1889 as Savannah, Florida & Western 100. It was purchased in 1906 by the Nevada Northern Railway #100 but was renumbered to #101 Ely in 1916 after the purchase of the second #100. The car was rebuilt with a steel underframe in 1928. In 1947 it was sold to the Gulf Mobile & Ohio and became #10. Sold to North American Car Corp in 1957 the car was restored for a tour of the US. Finally in 1961 it was donated to the Illinois Electric Railway Museum (predecessor to IRM). |
