The Bridge to Nowhere
Originally a 2-track bridge, this has been decomissioned, but the rail is still in place on both sides. The track on the left was removed, but you can make out the rail on the other side, which went under the Chicago Tribune building. We traced this track for a few hundred yards, and it is the old C&NW, which connected to the tracks that entered Ogilvie Transportation Center. There was a switch that was replaced, and about 5 more tracks actually went under the C&NW to who knows where.
