Scanned with an Epson V550 from an original Kodachrome 35mm slide. |

Amtrak 10-6 sleeper 2459 at about 18th Street in Chicago, Illinois on September 27, 1986, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 2459 was built by Budd in 1950 as AT&SF 1628, named PINE DAWN, became AMTK 2718, and upon HEP conversion in May 1981 became AMTK 2459. It appears that the name was dropped. |
