Spoor: "The Q returned to Pullman in 1965 for 55 more auto parts cars, #10215-10269, which were designated XML-8. These cars had 10' sliding doors, Evans DF2 belt rails, and Hydroframe 40 cushion gear. Most of these cars were assigned to various divisions of General Motors". Some of the cars were assigned to Libby Owens Ford Glass Company in Ottawa, Illinois. The diagonal stripe on the door indicates that Evans DF2 belt rails are installed. The reweigh date was: BJ-2-75. |
