This car arrived in New Orleans on 14 November 2000.Union Pacific 5508-5527 were the only Budd-built coaches owned by the railroad and became Amtrak 4440-4454, 6062, 4456-4459. During 1980-81 the 19 4400-series cars were rebuilt as HERITAGE FLEET cars 4627-4645, but not in order; and in 1996 13 of these were rebuilt into 1700-series baggage cars. |
