Tyrone. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, on 15 May 1965. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #6008 and #6030. Both are EF-25A's built by EMD in 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. They are pulling a 137-car eastbound mixed-cargo freight train with caboose #477789 through the Tyrone Station. |
