New NS AC44C6M Units in Snow
Description:
Eight recently-remanufactured Norfolk Southern AC44C6M units – former AC4400CW locos – were parked on the west test track next to Wabtec’s Fort Worth plant during an unusual North Texas snow fall. The locomotives were 3983, 3964, 3980, 3988, 3985, 3982, 3987 and 3998. The locomotives in the distance were old Union Pacific AC4400CW and C44-9W units waiting to be remanufactured.
