Over two years before the merger of the Missouri Pacific and Union Pacific, a couple of UP GE's were at the MP's Avondale Yard, just west of New Orleans. MP GP38-2's 2040 and 2156, UP C30-7 2443 and U30C 2956, and MP GP38-2's 2007 and 2105 rest on a ready track.
