Description:  I had my scanner on this wonderful Sunday Morning and heard that the M-NYRO was in town so,I rushed out the door only to hear UP Dispatcher 5 talking to the SP 343 West. I was riding along just west of Provo's Center Street so I stopped and got set up and was able snap this remarkable photograph of SP 343 unpatched. Looking Great For A 1995 built GE AC4400!

Description:  This Southern Pacific AC4400CW has somehow managed to escape the paint booths for 20 years. She is still wearing her original coat of SP gray and red. Though her Bloody Nose has since faded to pink, she is unpatched, and other than her reflective yellow frame stripe, bears no markings alluding to UP ownership. 343 is one of five AC4400CWs on UP still in SP paint, at the time of this photograph.
