Album Info:
This line was the Rock Island's St Louis-Kansas City subdivision. Operations ceased near the Rock's final shutdown on 3-31-1980. The tracks here stayed here until Feb. 2016 when the rails were removed in preparation for this right of way to become the "Rock Island Trail".

Two streaks of rust are still in place and the ballast doesn't look too bad. Sadly, a lot of brush and small trees are reclaiming the ex-Rock Island St Louis-KC sub.
